Watching a rerun of a. Law and order episode last night, where these cops get a tip about a dog fight ring,and bust into a house to break it up. The owner is a rich white guy,as are his cohorts. Not just rich but wine collectors (in one scene the homeowner has to put down his glass of wine) in an upper class neighborhood. When they are busted by a black policeman and his superior, wait for it... An Hispanic male, who gets right in whiteys face and asks him if he thinks watching two dogs rip each other to pieces is fun. Later a female district attorney muses that she doesn't mind going after "rich jerks" that host dogfights, she is speaking by the way to a black female police commander, well you can see where this is going. All I could think about was the only people that I ever saw accused of running one of these were either black or Hispanic, and the only rich person was a black football player.
